Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Agdz – Zagora:

We start the 2 day Desert trip from Marrakech to Zagora in the morning in a comfortable air-conditioned 4x4 car or minivan, on the 1st day we will pick-up you from the riad, hotel in Marrakech and cross the High Atlas mountains via Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m), we will have time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes and Berber hamlets, and we will get the chance to visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by UNESCO in 1987.

After lunch, you will travel to the south and cross the second pass which is Tizi N’Tnifift at 1710m and Ait Saoun village, the former route of caravans for Sahara traders coming from “Tombouktou”, you will reach the first administrative center called “Agdez Village” that marks the source of Draa Valley with it’s 6 successive palm groves stating (Mezquita palmary, Fezouata...) and Kasbahs. Upon arrival to Zagora, we go to ride the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the Sahara, when we arrive at the camp dinner with drums music in the middle of the Sahara, we will spend the night in nomad tents.

Day 2 : Zagora – Draa valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate - Marrakech :

On the second day of the Zagora desert trip, Awake early to see the sunrise over the dunes, another opportunity to take beautiful pictures, followed by a typical breakfast in the bivouac of Zagora. Then Ride the camels back to meet the car at the end of the paved road.

Leave Zagora behind and head straight back to Ouarzazate, where we will have free time for lunch in a local restaurant and visit the famous Kasbah of Taourirt (home to former Caid Pacha Glaoui) and the museum of Cinema as Ouarzazate is a noted film-making location, it has two huge film studios inviting some of the big international experts of the industry of cinema to work there. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains, to arrive there at around 6 or 7 pm, where your driver will drop you at the location of your choice.

The 2 days Marrakech to Zagora desert tour is known for its sunsets and breathtaking Draa valley, camel trek, and overnight in a desert camp. Once you arrive at Zagora you will meet your camels to take you through the desert. After approximately one hour on camels, you will reach your Zagora desert camp, have dinner, play drums with a camel guide and spend the night in nomad traditional tents.
